FAQ
Do you travel?
Absolutely! For sessions within Utah, travel fees apply if the location is an hour away from Salt Lake City. For out of state sessions, you will cover travel, lodging, car rental if applicable, along with other out of state fees. Best way to get more info is to fill out an inquiry form and I can send you a quote that includes the travel fees!
How many photos will I receive?
Half session: 30-50+ photos
Regular sessions: 50-75+ photos
Intimate weddings: 30-50+ photos/hr
Weddings: 50-70+ photos/hr
When will I get our photos?
Your gallery will be ready within 2-4 weeks for a regular session and 4-8 weeks for a wedding. I will send you a link to your gallery along with a download pin where you can download individual photos or the entire gallery. You'll have lifetime access to your gallery! A gallery of sneak peeks sent within a few days but will not be available for download.
Please let me know beforehand if you are not comfortable with me posting your photos on my website and/or social media.
Can I get RAW images?
I'm a firm believer that photographers get hired based on their work. Because of this, I don't want to take the risk of other people editing photos that I took and spent time planning, so I will not provide unedited images.
Can I extend my session?
Definitely! You have the option to book an hour-long session or an hour and a half. But if you want to extend our session, an additional 30 minutes is $150 and an additional hour is $250. This will also be in our contract.
Please note that this does not apply to model portfolio sessions as model sessions are limited to 1 hour.
When is payment due? What happens if I have to reschedule or cancel a session?
PAYMENT:
There is a 60% non-refundable retainer for sessions and a 50% non-refundable retainer for weddings.
Once we have discussed some details about your session/wedding through email, I will send over a questionnaire and we will schedule a virtual call where we will plan everything in more detail (please have questionnaire completed before our call). I will sign and send our contract and an invoice after. The non-refundable retainer and final balance are due on the dates listed on the contract and invoice.
**Your session/wedding is not booked until you have signed our contract and paid the non-refundable retainer. There will be a 3-day grace period. If payment is not made within the grace period, a 5% late fee from the total balance will be added.**
RESCHEDULING/CANCELLATION: I understand life happens and there are things that are inevitable!
For regular sessions: If you have to reschedule, please let me know within 48 hours before our session. If you reschedule a day before or the day of our session, a $150 rescheduling fee will be charged. You must reschedule within the next month.
If you are unable to reschedule within the next month, this will serve as a cancellation and you will be refunded 40% if you have already paid the full balance. The remaining non-refundable 60% will NOT be applied towards your next booking. A rescheduling fee will not be charged if rescheduling is due to the weather or if I need to reschedule due to illness, emergencies, etc.
For weddings: If you have to reschedule, I will keep your 50% non-refundable retainer. If you have to cancel, I will keep your 50% non-refundable retainer and that will serve as the cancellation fee.
Do you do collaborations/trade shoots?
Trade shoots (TFPs)/collaborations are only offered to the following:
- models I will contact through a model call
- brands
Models reaching out will be paying a fee that is less than my regular session fee. Please refer to the pricing guide.
